# About this release

[This](https://github.com/aeternity/aeternity/releases/tag/v5.5.3) This\
release fixes an issue in v5.5.x which prevented nodes from validating blocks\
which include transactions which have performed failed remote contract calls.\
All nodes running v5.5.x should upgrade to this release.
